Terms & Conditions

๐Ÿ”’ 1. Design Feasibility & Fabric Suitability

  • The tailor will assess the feasibility of the selected design on-site, based on:
    • Fabric type, texture, fall, and stretch.
    • Availability of required material (length, width, matching lining, accessories, etc.).
  • If the fabric does not support the chosen design, the customer:
    • Must choose an alternate design feasible with the given material.
    • Or may choose to cancel the service; however, a non-refundable service fee of 20% will be charged for the tailor's time and visit.
  • Tailor's decision on design feasibility is final and binding.

โœ‚๏ธ 2. On-the-Spot Adjustments

  • Customers are entitled to one free minor adjustment (e.g., sleeve length, waist fitting) immediately after the final trial, within the same service visit.
  • No post-visit adjustments or refittings are included or provided unless explicitly booked as a new paid service.
  • Alteration scope is limited to what is technically possible on-site and with the available tools.

๐Ÿ‘— 3. Fabric & Garment-Related Limitations

  • The company and tailor are not responsible for fabric issues during or after handling/stitching, such as:
    • Shrinkage, dye bleeding, stretching, puckering, pulling, distortion, tearing, damage, or weakness in weave.
    • Fabric inconsistencies that may affect final fitting, fall, or stitching outcome.
  • If customer provides used/washed/previously altered garments, fit and finish results may vary.
  • In cases of tight-fitting garments, the tailor may warn of fabric stress points; tailoring will proceed only at customer's risk.
  • All fabrics, laces, zippers, buttons, hooks, lining, and accessories supplied by the customer are used as-is. We are not liable for defects, poor quality, malfunctions, or incompatibility.
  • Heavily embellished garments or sarees may shed stones, beads, or sequins during handling or sewing. We are not responsible for loss/damage to these elements.
  • Any service that involves cutting, shortening, taking in seams, or modifying the shape/structure of the garment is non-reversible. No compensation will be provided for dissatisfaction post irreversible actions.
  • All garments are made per the given specifications. Slight variations in fit may occur due to fabric nature, client posture, or styling differences. Perfection is subjective, and we do not guarantee a particular fit.

๐Ÿงต 4. Measurements & Fitting Expectations

  • Measurements are taken as per industry best practices. However, minor variations may occur due to fabric nature or individual preferences.
  • Tailor takes on-site measurements and confirms them with the customer before starting the work.
  • Measurements taken by the customer or provided verbally without a proper trial are at the customer's risk. We do not guarantee fitting accuracy if measurements are provided without our Tailor's verification.
  • Any significant change in body size post-measurement is not the company's liability.
  • Custom fittings are based on standard tailoring methods, and minor fitting variations (ยฑ0.5 inches) are not grounds for refund or complaints.
  • We retain your measurement data. For repeat orders, please re-share your latest measurements.

๐Ÿ“‹ 5. Client Responsibility

  • The customer is responsible for:
    • Providing the correct material and add-ons (if selected the option to use their own add-ons e.g., laces, buttons, lining, zips, padding, etc.).
    • Ensuring cleanliness and adequate workspace for the tailor.
    • Being available during the service window to finalize fittings and design instructions.
  • Access to a power socket is mandatory for our service (for sewing machines, ironing, etc.).
  • If electricity is not available at the customer's location upon tailor's arrival:
    • The customer must arrange an alternative power source to continue the service.
    • If the customer chooses to reschedule the service, additional service fee will apply for the rescheduled visit.
    • No refunds will be issued in such cases unless cancellation/rescheduling occurs 2 hours before the visit.
  • The Tailor will wait up to 15 minutes at the location beyond the scheduled time.
  • If the customer is unavailable or not prepared, the appointment will be marked incomplete and 20% of the fee will be charged.
  • If the customer is unavailable or chooses not to trial the outfit, the tailor will still mark the service as complete.

๐Ÿงบ 6. Garment Handling & Storage

  • If excess fabric remains after stitching, it will be returned to the customer.
  • Once tailoring is complete, garments are handed over immediately to the customer. We do not store or carry customer clothing post-service.
  • We are not liable for loss, damage, or mix-up of materials if a customer provides multiple garments without labeling.
  • It is the client's responsibility to verify item count, condition, and satisfaction before the tailor leaves. Claims post-departure may not be entertained.

โณ 7. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • If the customer cancels after the tailor has reached the location, a 20% service fee will apply.
  • Last-minute rescheduling (less than 4 hours before appointment) is allowed only once and subject to slot availability.

โœ… 8. Tailor's Decision is Final

  • All technical calls (design, fabric, stitching feasibility, expected fit) are taken by the professional tailor.
  • If customer insists on a particular design or alteration against tailor's advice, results are not guaranteed, and work is done at customer's own risk.

๐Ÿงฐ 9. No Trial-Based or Iterative Work

  • All work is completed in a single sitting during the service window.
  • No trial versions, test stitching, or second-visit refittings are part of the standard service.
  • Any mid-process change of mind may lead to unsatisfactory results. We are not responsible if the output deviates from the client's evolving expectations.
  • Any dissatisfaction must be addressed during the visit, else no claims are entertained post-delivery.

๐Ÿ’ฐ 10. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is due at the booking of the service.
  • Any last-minute additions, special stitching, repair, or material handling may change the final price, which will be updated in the booking before proceeding.
  • In case of partial completion (due to design change or fabric issues, etc.), customer is liable for full payment.
  • Payment is non-refundable once the work has been initiated.

๐Ÿ“ธ 11. Photography & Content Usage

  • We reserve the right to document work done via photos. These may be used internally to assess service closure, quality standards, marketing, etc.
  • We will not include personal images or identifiable information without explicit permission.

๐Ÿ  12. Hygiene & Safety

  • Customers are expected to ensure a clean, safe, quiet and respectful environment for the tailor.
  • We are not liable for stitching defects caused due to poor lighting, lack of space, interruptions, or distractions at the client's home.
  • Tailors have the right to refuse service if the location is unsafe, unsanitary, or uncomfortable.

๐Ÿชก 13. Special Add-Ons & Custom Designs

  • Any intricate handwork, embroidery, or detailing beyond basic tailoring may require advance discussion and extra time.
  • In such cases, additional charges may apply and will be communicated upfront.

๐ŸŒช๏ธ 14. Force Majeure

  • In case of power outages, natural calamities, accidents, or unforeseen situations, the service may be:
    • Delayed, Rescheduled, or Partially completed.
    • No liability shall be held for such occurrences.

Final Note:
By booking the service, the customer agrees to the above T&C.
